Twenty Twelve is a BBC tv comedy show written and led by John Morton. Starring Jessica Hynes Hugh Bonneville along with Amelia Bullmore, the programme is really a spoof on-location documentary following the organisation of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. It was initially broadcast on UK television channel BBC Four in March 2011 to coincide with the 500 day count down.
Twenty Twelve gained reviews and there was a four-part show that was minute announced on 15 April 2011, which began airing on 30 on BBC Two. A few episodes of series two began airing from 10 July 2012. The series' last episode was broadcast on 2-4 three weeks until the launching service of the London Olympic Games.
