Too Close to Comfort is a American television sitcom which ran before September 27, 1986 before May 5, 1983, also in first-run syndication from April 7, 1984 on the ABC network from November 1 1, 1980. This had been modeled after the British series Keep It in the household, that triggered nine months before Too Close for Comfort debuted from the U.S. Its name has been changed to The Ted Knight Show as soon as the show was retooled for the final season.
