The Wild Wild West
The Wild Wild West is an American television series Developed at a time when the television western has been losing ground to the spy genre, this series was conceived by its creator, Michael Garrison, as"James Bond on horseback." Set during the government of President Ulysses Grant, the show followed Secret Service agents James West and Artemus Gordon since they protected the President, solved offenses, and foiled the plans of megalomaniacal villains to carry over part or all of the USA.
The series featured a number like the technologically advanced devices employed their adversaries and by both the representatives. The mix of the use of Verne-esque style technology and the Victorian age time frame have inspired some to give the show credit.
