The Philanthropist

The Philanthropist is a action play series which premiered on NBC on Wednesday. The program proved to be a summer collection that was restricted filmed in South Africa. It opened to strong ratings, but watched a drop in audiences in weeks. The Philanthropist is a Carnival Films production in association with All the Levinson/Fontana Company and Original Media. Peter Horton, Barry Levinson, tom Fontana, Charlie Corwin, Gareth Neame, and Teri Weinberg functioned as executive producers. On October 2 1, 2009, NBC canceled the series. Fans attempts to preserve the series on the atmosphere using face-book and a charitable cause called"Save The Philanthropist through Charity" were unsuccessful.
