The Odyssey

The Odyssey is a 1997 Dream --adventure television miniseries along with Emmy Awardwinning and Golden Globe-nominated. The mini series aired in beginning on May 18, 1997 on NBC. The series afterwards won the award for"Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries or a Special". The series is centered on the ancient Greek epic poem, The Odyssey, that is usually related to Homer. It had been filmed in Turkey and Malta, in addition to many different areas across the Mediterranean, where the story takes place, plus areas of England. The international all-star cast includes Armand Assante, Greta Scacchi, Irene Pappas, Isabella Rossellini, Bernadette Peters, Christopher Lee, and Vanessa L. Williams.
