The Joe Schmo Show is a real possibility television hoax series produced by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The show will be broadcast in the U.S. on the cable system Spike. The premise of the show is that a target person or persons will be led to believe that they are contestants on a reality television series. In reality, most of the additional participants in the series that is supposed -- like the host -- are celebrities, and the upshot of the supposed series and also their actions are scripted to elicit responses from the goals. The Joe Schmo Show, the show's first season, headquartered in 2003, also also its second season, Joe Schmo 2, headquartered in 2004. The season's hoax was ran whilst the second hoax proved to be a Bachelor-like dating 22, as a normal reality contest series.
On December 10, 2012, Spike announced it brought The Joe Schmo Show back for another season, that premiered on January 8, 2013.
The only constant presence in all three Joe Schmo seasons was voice actor Ralph Garman, who's functioned since the"emcee" for all three editions.
