Your day Now is a parody of television current affairs programs, broadcast in 1994, also developed by the comedians Armando Iannucci and Chris Morris. It is a version of the air programme On the Hour, that was aired on BBC Radio 4 between 1991 and 1992. Was written by Morris, Iannucci, Steven Wells, also the cast, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, David Quantick, and Andrew Glover. For the Afternoon Now, Peter Baynham combined the writing team, also Herring and Lee were substituted by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews. To Day, the primary cast of On the Hour was retained for the Afternoon.
Your day Now is composed of also a selection of five-minute slots listed as promotion trailers to the longer segments and six thirty-two episodes. The six half-hour episodes were broadcast January. Now has won many awards, including Morris winning the 1994 British Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. All six episodes are available on BBC DVD, having been issued to VHS.
