The Bastard Executioner

A medieval epic which tells the story of Wilkin Brattle, a 14th century warrior, whose life is forever changed if a celestial messenger beseeches him to lay his sword down and lead the life span of some other person: a journeyman executioner. Place throughout a time rife with rebellion and political upheaval in northern Wales, Wilkin has to walk a tightrope between protecting his individuality while also serving a destiny.
