Survivorman
Survivorman is Globally on Science Channel and Discovery Channel, and a television program, broadcast on the Outdoor Life Network in Canada. The series introduced 4 specials and three seasons -- including 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2012.
The title means the host of the series, Canadian filmmaker and survival expert Les Stroud, who used survival skills and wisdom to survive for as many as ten days alone videotaping his adventures in remote locales where he brought with him little or no food, water, or equipment. According to the website of the show, Stroud and his team who consulted with natives and survival specialists of each field scouted and pre-planned widely each location. The fact Stroud spent time alone is a significant focal point of the series.
