Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is a American sitcom based on the Archie comic book series of the same name. The series was released on September 27, 1996 on ABC to more than 17 million viewers in its own"T.G.I.F." lineup. The series stars Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina Spellman, an American that, on her sixteenth birthday, discovers she has magical powers. She resides with her aunts, European witches Hilda and Zelda, along with their magical kitty Salem throughout most of the set in the town of Westbridge, Massachusetts. The series' first four seasons aired on ABC from September 27, 1996 to May 5, 2000. The final three seasons ran on The WB to April 24, 2003 from September 22, 2000.
