Recess is an American animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and created by Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere. The show targets six elementary school students and their interaction with other professors and classmates. The name describes the period of time during the school day at which kids are not in lessons and also are outside in the school yard, in us society. One of the features of the series is the youngsters form their own society, detailed with also a class structure and government, set against the setting of an everyday school.
Recess first aired from 1997 to 2001, also reruns aired on Disney Channel. The accomplishment of the show saw where it aired on channels including Toon Disney and Disney Channel UK, that it had been distributed all over the world, especially the United Kingdom. In 2001, Walt Disney Pictures released the first of two films on the basis of Recess: School's Out, the show, which had been distributed. It was followed closely by a film entitled Recess Christmas: Miracle on Third Street the calendar year. In 2003, a film eligible Recess: Taking the Fifth Grade was published, Together with Recess. Both were also direct-to-video. The characters also made an appearance in an episode of Disney's Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
