Rawhide is an American Western series starring Eric Fleming and Clint Eastwood which aired for eight seasons on the CBS network on Friday nights, by January 9, 1959 to September 3, 1965, before proceeding to Tuesday nights in September 14, 1965 before January 4, 1966, with a total of 2 17 black-and-white episodes. The series was produced and directed by Charles Marquis Warren, that also produced early episodes of Gunsmoke.
Crossing seven and a half years, Rawhide was twenty eight five years of Gunsmoke, nine years of The Virginian, fourteen years of Bonanza the fifth-longest-running American tv Western, exceeded only by eight years of Wagon Train.
