They spend their days fretting about their individual townsfolk and thinking up experiences. Last of the Summer Fishing began at 1973 as an incident of Comedy Playhouse. The show ran until 2010 for episodes. It's the longest running sitcom in the world and the longest running comedy Britain has produced.
