Kickin' It's a British martial arts motivated humor television show, which debuted on Disney XD on June 13, 2011. Created and executive created by Jim O'Doherty, the show is ranked TV-Y7 and follows the karate instructor at an under-performing martial arts academy, played with Jason Earles, and his own five misfit students, played with Leo Howard, Dylan Riley Snyder, Mateo Arias, Olivia Holt and Alex Christian Jones. On September 20, 2011,'' Disney XD announced the series was renewed for another season. The series's 2nd season premiered on April 2, 2012. Disney XD would go into production in January 2013 and announced on November 5, 2012 that the show was renewed for a third season. The 3rd year proved on April 1, 2013. Alex Christian Jones is not a main cast member for the 3rd season. In August 2013, Disney XD ordered a fourth season. Olivia Holt is departing the fourth season cast to star in the Disney Channel show I Didn't Do It.
