Back in Jann, Jann Arden plays a fictionalized, self deprecating version of himself: a singer-songwriter of a"certain age" in acute refusal of this harsh reality her prior music career will be slowly (okay immediately ) fading off. But it isn't merely Jann's livelihood that is on life care -- she is just single (don't frighten her), her sister could disown her, along with her mum could be showing early signs of memory loss. Jann life is in shambles and she is convinced that the cureall is to enlist a manager to assist rejoin her image. Filled with loads of LOL moments, she embarks on a search to return to greatness and go viral, but gets tangled in the pressures of her'real' life. Jann reaches the cross roads between who she was who she wants to be. Can Jann stage a comeback, reclaim fame...and be there for the folks who love ?
