Jack Taylor is an Irish television drama. The show has already been made available. It's received mixed reviews. Bernice Harrison of this Irish Times believed that the show was spoiled by Glen's voice overs, which gave the character the feel of a gumshoe in a film noir. But David Stephenson of the Daily Express said he had been hooked with the strong starting order of the first episode. A private investigator interviewed from The Guardian's Laura Barnett said that he found that the show amusing, however that it did not give an accurate portrayal of his profession.
