The series follows teenage Hercules training as a hero as well as trying to adjust to life. With his free-spirited friend Icarus, his future-seeing friend Cassandra and also his educator Philoctetes, he and his evil uncle Hades struggles with. Like most of teens however, Hercules needs to be concerned about peer pressure once he is ridiculed by the snobbish prince Adonis. The series especially simplifies several occasions at the film and is not considered canon.
