The story revolves round Haruka Nanase, a boy who has loved to be chilled in water, and also to swim in it. He participated alongside Rin Matsuoka, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and his swimming club members before graduating from elementary school. After achieving victory, each of these boys went their separate ways. In the exact middle of their high school lives Rin appears and challenges, and time passed Haruka to a match, showing Haruka his overwhelming power. Not needing to become this, Haruka, gathers together Makoto and Nagisa again and again brings a brand fresh member called Rei Ryugazaki to generate the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club as a way to defeat Rin.
