The novel "Crime Puzzle" tells the story of a criminal psychologist who is convicted of killing a political candidate and is sentenced to prison for the crime. Meanwhile, a criminal profiler whose father was killed in the crime is conducting interviews with the convicted killer for a case that takes place inside the prison. Just a year ago, these two were romantically involved with one another; nevertheless, they recently met again in their new roles as a killer and a criminal profiler, and now they must confront the shocking reality behind a string of murders. The suspenseful aspect of the story is on how they, like pieces of a puzzle, put everything together. Meen's webcomic "Crime Puzzle" () served as the inspiration for this version.
