Cosmos: Possible Worlds

American science documentary TV show that premiered on March 9, 2020, on National Geographic. The series is a continuation of the 2014 TV show Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which was a continuation of the 1980 PBS show Cosmos: A Personal Voyage by Carl Sagan. Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist, hosts the show. Ann Druyan and Brannon Braga wrote, directed, and executive-produced the show. Seth MacFarlane and Jason Clark are also executive producers. The series has 13 episodes, which were shown over a period of seven weeks. The first episode of the show was shown on Fox for the first time on September22, 2020. Braga says, "Possible Worlds is about planets in the far, far future, but it's also about the future as a possible world."
