Baccano! Is a Japanese book series illustrated by Katsumi Enami and compiled by Ryohgo Narita. The show told from various points of view, is placed within a fictional United States throughout time periods, most notably the Prohibition era. It focuses on various folks, including alchemists, thieves, thugs, Mafiosi and Camorristi. The personalities start to cross paths, setting off events which spiral further and further, after an elixir is re created in 1930 Manhattan. The first novel was released under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko imprint, and at March 2013, twenty five novels have been released. The novels were adapted to some episode anime television series produced by the Base and Aniplex of Brain and directed by Takahiro Omori. The first thirteen episodes were aired from July 26, 2007 on WOWOW to November 1, 2007. The last three were released direct-to-DVD. The series was adapted into a two-volume manga, an experience gaming for its Nintendo DS and also two drama CDs. An additional book premiered with the first drama CD and also two novels premiered in parts with all the DVDs of the adaption.
