You Can't Take My Daughter

Analyn Megison is the inspiration for this film. While studying law in Charlotte, Amy Thompson (Lyndsy Fonseca) is assaulted by Demetri (Hunter Burke), a friend of a friend whom she had only met once, and raped in front of her professors. Even though Demetri is still following and harassing Amy as she waits for her long-delayed trial to begin, Amy takes the difficult decision to keep her kid. To escape him, she gives birth to a beautiful baby girl, and she decides to relocate to Atlanta. Six years later, Demetri discovers her and, to her surprise, sues her for child custody. When Amy is confronted, she fights back using the resources she has at her disposal.
