Veronika Voss
Back in Munich 1955, German filmstar Veronika Voss becomes a drug addict at the mercy of corrupt Dr. Marianne Katz, who keeps her supplied with morphine. After fulfilling sport writer Robert Krohn, Veronika begins to dream of a return. Because the relationship escalates in intensity of the couple, Veronika begins planning her come back to the screen -- only to appreciate exactly the way debilitated she's become throughout her drug habit.
