In 1981, chalk slogans written in uppercase letters began appearing in public rooms in the Romanian city of Boto?ani. They demanded flexibility, alluded to the autonomous developments taking place in Romania's socialist sis nations or merely asked for renovations in the food supply. Mugur C?linescu was behind them, who was still at school at the time and also whose case is recorded in the data of the Romanian secret cops. Theatre director Gianina C?rbunariu created a docudrama play based upon this material.
