A former missionary, katherine Morrissey, lost her beliefs after the dreadful deaths of her loved ones. She applies her expertise to debunking religious happenings. When a run of biblical plagues overwhelmed a small town, Katherine arrives to establish the supernatural force isn't supporting the happenings, but soon discovers that science cannot explain what's going on.
