The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother's Hunt for Justice informs the tale of Mari Gilbert's look for the fact behind what happened to her little girl Shannan, a sometime companion who went away after a 'day' on Long Island. After Shannan (Katharine Isabelle, Hannibal) falls short to come house, her mother Mari (Kim Delaney) knows something is awfully wrong. Pleading to police to take her problems seriously, she maintains pushing the police for responses. Mari's insistence that her little girl not be forgotten eventually causes a scary concealed on Long Island for more than a years-- 19 bodies of young women discovered hidden in shallow graves along Ocean Parkway in the location of Jones Beach State Park.
