1917. The British advance has been stopped by the Turkish line running from Gaza to Beersheba. Latest Gaza attack fails. Attacking forces included the Australian Light Horse regiment. Frank is wounded by Bedouins. He's replaced with Dave, a crack shot who's unwilling to shoot at the enemy. Dave survives a German biplane attack. In hospital, he meets sympathetic nurse Anne. The regiment is sent to flank Beersheba. How do you convince the Turks to target Gaza? How do you attack without water?
