The Legend of the Stardust Brothers
He had produced a soundtrack for a movie that didn't exist: The Legend of the Stardust Brothers. Macoto Tezka (son of the legendary manga creator Osamu Tezuka) met Haruo Chicada in 1985. Macoto was 22 years old, a film student with many short experimental films under his belt but no feature film debut, and of course the TEZUKA name to contend with. This “fake soundtrack” became the true movie plot of “The Stardust Brothers” with Chicada as producer.
