The King

Tae-su grows up in a poor home and learns that power is the most essential thing in life, so he decides to become a prosecutor, the most powerful icon of the 1990s. Tae-su ultimately achieves his dream of becoming a prosecutor after attending Korea's most prominent law school and encountering democratic resistance, but his life is no better than that of a salary man. By happenstance, he joins a group of wealthy and influential prosecutors. He finally gets a taste of life at the top, but with with the honey of power comes the brutal side.
