The portrait man plans to wed her and falls deeply in love. However, alas, the shepherdess has fallen in love and they elope from the king's palace. Enraged, the king sends his authorities to catch them as soon as they're within his power he forces the shepherdess to wed him. The mockingbird must utilize all his guile and courage to more thwart the king and bring his reign.
