The Handmaiden

1930s Korea, at the time of Japanese occupation, a new woman is hired to a heiress who lives a life on a large countryside mansion along with her uncle as being a handmaiden. But, the maid has a secret: she is a pick pocket recruited by means of a swindler posing like a Western count that will help him rob her of her luck subdue the heiress to elope with him, and lock up in a mad house. Until the ladies discover some emotions, the master plan appears to move according to plan.
