An acclaimed performer and his both acclaimed actress wife, who were married for under a year, are showing signs of anxiety within his or her own marriage. The actor sets out to establish that this is really so and believes his wife is effective of jealousy. Disguising himself as the type of man he believes she fancies (a Russian military officer), the actor woos his wife while she considers him (her spouse , that is) to be outside of town. The actress shows every indication of clinging to the"Russian's" advances, the husband could not quite put the postage of certainty onto her behavior. The reality eventually reveals itself. . .or does it?
