The Golden Voices

This year's "Golden Voices Competition" will be place at Terrell Christian College (TCC), but there's a catch: TCC lacks a choir. Assistant Dean Vickie Wilson (Tonea Stewart) has challenged Georgia Mae Jackson (Irma P. Hall), the director of the music department, to put together a chorus in one month or lose her job. Georgia's back starts to hurt, so she enlists the help of her granddaughter, Sidney Nicole Taylor (Nikki Dixon), to take over the choir. Sidney turns the college upside down when she hires Jax Rebel (Mario Mims), a fallen, bad boy R&B singer, to assist her with the choir. When Dean Wilson learns about Jax's tumultuous past, he threatens to fire Georgia if they don't win the tournament. Will Georgia's job be saved by Sidney and Jax?
