The Forbidden Kingdom
An American teenager who is obsessed with kung-fu classics and Hong Kong cinema makes warrior and an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the pole weapon of the Chinese sage. The teenager unexpectedly finds himself travelling back into early China to join a team of warriors on a quest out of martial arts lore to free the imprisoned Monkey King.
