Young adult Ben Mockridge feels life in a Wild West farm town has nothing better to use after that horse-cart racing with various other hicks, so he naively begs cattle firm owner Frank Culpepper to involve him as youngest cowboy for a long cattle route to a ft, his mother barely notices.
