Norma along with Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple with a new child, be given a simple wooden box as a gift, that communicates consequences that are fatal and irrevocable. A mysterious stranger gives the message that the box promises to bestow 1 million with all the press of a button. Yet pressing this button may cause the death of the human being somewhere on the planet. Somebody they don't really understand. With just twenty four hours to get the box in their possession, Norma and Arthur are at the cross hairs of a dilemma that is startling and have to face the real character of their humankind.
