The Blockhouse

A gang of slave laborers, conscripted by the Nazis to assist in the construction of their coastal defenses in1944, are trapped in a bunker when the Allies land on D-Day in Normandy. They discover vast quantities of food, but not enough candles. The gradual fading of the light mirrors their growing boredom, illness, and jealousy during their imprisonment.
