The Big Racket

Nico Palmieri is a police investigator who fights against a criminal group that is terrorizing a quiet town in Italy and trying to extort money from the local merchants. Except for the proprietor of a restaurant, no one dares to intervene because of the threat of violence, but Palmieri manages to coerce him into telling the truth. As a direct consequence of this, the young daughter of the proprietor is sexually assaulted, and the violence persists. When Palmieri's superior finds out that the gang has links to drug traffickers, he is banned to continue investigating the case. As a result, he decides to take matters into his own hands and investigate the gang himself. Palmieri plans to exact a violent vengeance on the gang, and he does it by recruiting a couple of guys who have been victimized by the group.
