Saturday 24th December 1994. Four GIA terrorists hijack an Air France A300 Airbus at the Algiers airport. The Airbus, bound for Paris, has passengers up to speed. No one knows exactly what the terrorists' aims are, simply they are extremely determined and armed. They require the liberation of the"brothers in arms" and desire the aircraft to lose at once. After lengthy and intense negotiations between the French and Algerian authorities, the plane has been allowed to leave. There are 3 main characters at the core of the actions: some member of the GIGN,'' Carole Jeanton, an ambitious technocrat keen to do anything required to achieve personal profit from the events, and Yahia Abdallah, a determined jihadist who grew up in the slums of Algiers and continues to be manipulated by an vague GIA envoy, Ali Touchent.
