Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

A hardcore cop (Sylvester Stallone) apparently delicate mother (Estelle Getty) comes to stay with him and progressively interferes in his own life. She starts poking around in his authorities cases and buys him an system pistol. Finally, the film brings to some denouement involving the name of this film and the revelation which even though she seems delicate and feeble she is capable of strong actions in some circumstances, i.e. if her son is threatened by thugs and she shoots herself in the shoulder.
