Sobibor
The film is centered on a true story that happened in the Sobibor concentration camp at German-occupied Poland in 1943. The character of the movie is the soldier Alexander Pechersky, that in that time served as a lieutenant at the Red Army. In October 1943, he was seized by the Nazis and deported into the Sobibor concentration camp, at which Jews were exterminated in gas chambers. However, in only a few weeks, Alexander was ready to plan an global uprising of offenders. This uprising resulted in being the successful one all through the war, that led to the escape of prisoners out of the Nazi concentration camp.
