Author Nell Phillips' first book has come to be a surprise bestseller of this xmas season. Nell's last stop on a book tour carries her into the town of Springdale, the Annals of Emmett Turner, also a man she met over while both were copy-editors at a New York publishing company. Nell was hurt when Emmett stood her up and disappeared without some excuse from New York. Since Nell is quick to admit, Emmett's colorful, nostalgic anecdotes around Springdale inspired her to produce this particular book that's currently shaping her own life and specially this festival season.
