Luisa De Dominicus is really just a Milanese piano teacher who moves to be with the person she likes: Ferdinando'Bonci' Marinotti, a town councilman campaigning on a platform of moral principles for mayor. She is living with his ailing mother. This, obviously, is nowhere near the case. The boys residing in her apartment construction believe Luisa is a call girl who uses piano teaching as a cover on her profession, and word soon spreads among the construction's dirty old men. The resourceful boys drill a well-concealed hole in the wall between Signorina Luisa's flat and the bed room of the spouse's son, Marcello Busatti, making a spectacular view of their neighbor to them. Marcello becomes infatuated with Luisa, however, is conflicted about her profession that is assumed. Luisa learns of Fernando character, and following having a misunderstanding, satisfies Marcello's unrequited lust/love.
