Rags follows the narrative of Charlie Prince, an orphan living with his stepfather and spoiled, simple minded step-brothers. Charlie's fantasy is to be a singer, also while he is talented and can write music, he can not seem to grab a break. Kadee Worth, on the other hand, is now an global pop phenomenon and may be music mogul Reginald Worth's girl. While the world knows her as a superstar, she is secretly frustrated with singing other people's songs and wearing clothes other people choose on her. Kadee wants the world to listen and see her talent. Despite once Charlie and Kadee find one every obstacle which gets thrown into their own way, they all get what they were searching for -- a voice, a stage.
