Polycarp
Anna, a young slave girl, befriended with their own elderly bishop, Polycarp, also is rescued and adopted by Christians in second Century Smyrna. She struggles to reconcile her own beliefs with those of those Christians, as Polycarp along with her new family teaches Anna. When the Roman proconsul demands that most citizens worship Caesar to show their allegiance to Rome, the Christians along with Polycarp must seek courage to stand contrary to the growing risk of persecution for their faith. Anna is forced to come to grips with all the truth and choose that which she's prepared to live, and die for.
