Back in 1988, Chilean military dictator Augusto Pinochet, as a result of international pressure, is made to contact a plebiscite in his own presidency. The country would vote'Yes' or'No' to Pinochet extending his rule. Opposition leaders for its'No' vote convince a brash young advertising executive,' Rene Saavedra, to spearhead their own campaign. Against all odds, while under scrutiny and using scant resources by the despot's minions, his team and Saavedra invent an audacious plan to win the election set Chile free.
