Night Catches Us

Marcus, an ex-Black Panther, comes to Philadelphia in 1976 after growing up during the turbulent 1960s and reconnects with Pat, a Panther leader's widow. Marcus becomes acquainted with Pat's young daughter and tries to overcome his demons. Marcus' good intentions are thwarted by the neighborhood's ongoing racial and social tensions, as well as old rivals and allies with grudges to settle.
