Monte Walsh
Monte Walsh and Chet Rollins are long time cowhands, working whatever ranch job is their way, but"nothing they can't do from the horse." Their lifetimes are broken up between months on the scope and the trip. While Chet has fallen under the charm monte includes a connection with prostitute Martine Bernard.
