Misty Button
This dark comedy portrays the freewheeling émigré society of lads short on employment and cash but long on heavy drinking in Brooklyn and the Bronx. A jobless James teams up with his pal Eoin on a for-hire trip to the track for slippery raconteur Timmy Thomas. In a poor attempt at sleight of hand, the boys screw up royally, putting themselves in debt to a gang. A brazen lady with a soft spot for Irish music and a penchant for greenbacks sets her sights on James.
