In the near future, chaos and revolt break out in France. Philippe Muphand, a right-wing politician, is about to take over when his girlfriend Caroline walks out and says she will date the first fool she sees. He is going to the train station to buy tickets to Barcelona, where he and his wife will have a second honeymoon and he will give a lecture at the university.
